Part 2 of 2: The Best Instagram Accounts to Follow for Farmhouse Decor

Aaaaaand we're back!! [Skip this part if you just want get to the pretty pictures hehe] I hope you all thoroughly enjoyed your Thanksgiving break and spent lots of quality time with your family and relaxed a little bit! If you follow any of our social media accounts you probably heard that Pa (my dad) had surgery on Monday of last week. Praise God, the surgery went well and the doctor was very pleased with the outcome. Now we just pray for a smooth recovery and that when he goes back for his follow-ups, no further surgery or treatments will be necessary. Our family appreciates all of your prayers so, so very much - thank you!!! Other than that we all had a wonderful break and spent plenty of time outdoors enjoying the weather and the time with each other!

Now, onto the Instagram accounts...I've got some gorgeous stuff in store for you today. Y'all are going to LOVE these!!

The farmhouse seen round the world! Seriously, I have seen her gorgeous little farmhouse ALL over on Pinterest. Her house just looks like its arms are wide open, ready to hug you and pull you onto the porch to stay awhile, doesn't it? So inviting. I love Lauren's simple and pared down Country Farmhouse Style. She incorporates rustic finishes with clean lines and classic pieces for a Modern Farmhouse look that is very livable. And, can we just talk a sec about her children's rooms? I adore her son's railroad / train themed bedroom - how awesome is the sign?? and the sliding barn door? And how 'bout that floral wallpaper and soaring ceiling in her daughter's room? I would have never left that room as a little girl haha!

If there was one word I could use to describe Liz Marie's decorating style, it would be TEXTURE. My, my, this girl has her texture pairings down pat! She combines rustic and industrial elements like those metal dining room chairs and that old antique farmhouse china hutch with unexpected items - like those glam chandeliers! And it just. works. I love scrolling her Instagram for decorating ideas and inspiration. She's got a knack for pulling together found objects, industrial salvage, and artwork to create the most stunning gallery walls and vignettes. And there's always something new and exciting to look at - I honestly don't know how she does it!

So. Much. Eye candy. I actually just very recently discovered Kayla's Instagram (okay...like, yesterday recently). But I knew as soon as I saw her feed that I HAD to feature her as part of this post. She has impeccable taste. She incorporates rustic, vintage and antique pieces with refined furniture that has a French air - for example, the settees in the living room and her bed, both of which feature gentle, sweeping, elegant curves. I love her use of texture as well - layering and combining contrasting textures always makes for a richer look and feel in a room and it just draws you in. And umm, her rooms totally draw me in lol! Her feed has lots of little vignettes and decorating ideas and I loved seeing her booth setups for when she goes to market.

Kathleen's Instagram feed is breathtaking. You can see she has an affinity for all things garden/nature and I absolutely love it. Her style to me is just completely effortless - not too bare, not too crowded - just right. The Cottage / Farmhouse style throughout her home is like a breath of fresh air, featuring lots of gorgeous chippy white painted items, fresh flowers and plants, and beautiful antiques all in natural soft and soothing tones. She posts a lot of vignettes, display ideas, and - what I LOVE - she shows how to organize and store items throughout your home with [vintage] style. Because nobody ever said organization had to be ugly!

I hope you enjoyed Part 2 of this post! I'm definitely feeling inspired, aren't you? So inspired in fact, I am about to start a really fun project that I will be posting about in (hopefully) the very near future! If you don't know my little family's story, be sure and check it out here to find out why we are currently living in my parents' RV / Camper (I promise, it's not a sad story - it's an adventurous one!). Well, being the DIY / Decor / Fixer Upper lover that I am, it's a little frustrating that I don't have a home to unleash my creative abilities on. So, with my parents' permission, they are letting me spruce up the RV a bit. Today...well I am "ship-lapping" the interior ;) fingers crossed that I can get it done before my hubby comes home from his business trip lol!! More on that later! Until next time!
